Cairo International Airport

Cairo International Airport is the city's primary international airport, as well as Egypt's largest and busiest. It is the primary hub for Egyptair, Nile Air, and several other airlines. The airport is located in Heliopolis, northeast of Cairo, about fifteen kilometers (eight nautical miles) from the city's business district, and it covers an area of approximately 37 km2 (14 sq mi).
