Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, which is part of Cairo's National Cultural Centre, is the city's main performing arts venue. It is located on the southern portion of Gezira Island in the Nile River, in the Zamalek district near downtown Cairo, and is home to the majority of Egypt's finest musical groups.
