The Coptic Museum is a museum in Coptic Cairo, Egypt, that houses the world's largest collection of Coptic Christian artifacts. Marcus Simaika founded it in 1908 to house Coptic antiquities. [1] The museum chronicles Egypt's history from its beginnings to the present day. It was built on 8,000 square meters of land donated by the Coptic Orthodox Church and overseen by Pope Cyril V.
